Tasks

Viewing site predefined locations

  1. On the Customer Data screen, open the Site Location tab.
  2. Select the company and site whose predefined locations you want to view.
  3. A table lists all predefined locations related to the selected site. Click on a site location to see more detailed information about it.

Creating site predefined locations

You can create predefined locations either from scratch or use an existing location as a template.

To create predefined locations from scratch:

  1. On the Customer Data screen, open the Site Location tab.
  2. Click the New button.
  3. Enter a short name for the location to help you identify it.
  4. Select the site from the Site drop-down list.
  5. (optional) In the Meeting Point field, enter a short helpful description to specify the exact place where it is best for ride partners to meet at this location. For example, "Meet at the main gate".
  6. Click Select to open the Address Picker.
  7. In the Address Picker enter the city, street name and number, then select the exact address from the suggestions proposed. The address is indicated by a pin on the map.
  8. If the system does not recognize your address correctly:
    • Enter as much of the address as possible, for example the city and street name.
    • From the suggestion list, select the address that you require or if none is applicable, press Enter to use the address you typed in the Address field. TwoGo places a marker on the map to broadly indicate the address you entered.
    • Hover your mouse over the marker and then drag it to the precise part of the street you require. TwoGo drops the marker at the closest navigable street to the one you indicated.
    • In the Address field, enter additional information to complete the address if possible. For example, the street number. NOTE: The warning "Please provide a full address with city, street name and number" remains as long as the navigation system has not recognized the address you entered.
    • Click Save. If the address is not recognized, TwoGo displays a further warning message.
    • Respond to the warning by selecting the option that you require. Save unknown address stores the exact address as you entered it in the Address field, together with the actual co-ordinates of the marker on the map. These are the details that other users will see in their meeting requests when they are matched to a ride containing this location. Alternatively, select Edit address to modify the Address field and marker position.
  9. Click Apply to confirm, then Save.
