Quick Guide - Managing Registration Tokens

You can create tokens to enable TwoGo users using a non-company email address to register their account as a company account.

You specify how many days each registration token is valid for and how many user accounts can use the token to verify their registration during that time. You can also set how long accounts that are verified with each token can remain active before being blocked automatically.

Tasks

Creating tokens

  1. On the Customer Data screen, open the Site tab.
  2. In the Site Details screen area, open the Registration Tokens tab.
  3. Click Create Token. The Generate Registration Tokens dialog is displayed.
  4. In the Expiration section, set the validity periods for the registration tokens:
    • Token: Either select Never expires or enter the date after which the token can no longer be used for account verifications.
    • Accounts: Either select Never expires or enter the date after which account that are verified with this token become automatically blocked. NOTE: The account expiration date must be later than the token expiration date.
  5. In the Volume section, enter the following details:
    • Token Count: The number of tokens to create
    • Sign-up per token: The number of accounts that can be verified with each token.
  6. Click Create. The tokens are now listed in the table in the middle of the screen.

To customize the token registration page, you can set your site-specific branding with the following elements in the Visual Identity section:

  • Welcome Page: Type in the text you want to appear
  • From your local file system select the images to use as Logo and Background. The logo must be a maximum of 320 pixels in height and 530 pixels in width. It also cannot be larger than 169600 kb.

Viewing and downloading available tokens

To view the tokens available at a given site:

  1. On the Customer Data screen, open the Site tab.
  2. In the Site Details screen area, open the Registration Tokens tab.
  3. The available tokens are displayed in a table. To save the list of tokens and their attributes to a file, click Download Tokens.

Sending tokens to users

  1. On the Customer Data screen, open the Site tab.
  2. In the Site Details screen area, open the Registration Tokens tab. The available tokens are displayed in a table.
  3. Click the relevant token and select Send Invitation. The system automatically creates a new email message with a link to the TwoGo sign-up page.
  4. Enter the email addresses of all users to whom you want to send the invitation.
  5. Click Send.
